Path Planning Specialist (gn)

Your mission

Increase product value with sophisticated functionality by understanding, integrating and improving complex algorithms.

Wandelbots develops an easy to use software platform that enables its users to control any robot.
As part of our motion control team you will help us tackle the exciting challenges we face on this mission.

You will make every robot move smooth and precise and your algorithms assist our users in quickly generating executable robot programs.

What you do:

• You will tackle MC challenges such as likemotion planning, dynamic modeling and identification, generic inverse kinematics, collision avoidance and path optimization.
• You will be responsible for state-of-the-art research useable for our products.
• You will develop prototypes with Python.

Your profile

• You have a technical background: Master's in engineering / physics / or similar.
• You have meaningful experiences in solving at least one of the challenges : e.g. PhD or large industry project that involved development based on/related to state-of-the-art approaches, specifically not only application or integration of existing libraries.
• You possess strong Python knowledge (architecture, algorithms, visualization).
• You are a strong manipulator, robotics background.
• You have a good understanding of C++ and CMake.
• You can communicate clearly and convincingly across teams.
• You are passionate about what you do and enjoy working as part of a team.
• You have a very good command of English verbal and written, German is a plus.
