Senior Data Analyst / Scientist (m/f/d) - Remote

Collecting data is one thing, but evaluating it and drawing the right conclusions from it is crucial! We want you to deeply understand what s going on in our product, marketing and financial data and propose solutions to any inefficiencies you find.

Your Tasks

• Be involved in the hiring process in order to build a world-class Data Analytics team
• Conduct exploratory analysis and present key findings to stakeholders on all levels
• Work with your focus departments to create opportunities for data science projects up until bringing these into production
• Contribute to the development of our reporting environment and data lake
• Translate complex concepts into implications for the business via excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Build top management reports in Looker, including prediction and alert mechanisms for endangered KPIs/metrics
• Derive decision recommendations and trends for the business based on deeper analyses of financial, sales, marketing and product data
• Build data models to provide clean, reliable data to relevant staff members and thereby reduce data silos

Your Profile

• Bachelors or above in quantitative field: Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• At least 3 - 5 years experience in a comparable role

• You must be self-directed and comfortable supporting the data needs of multiple teams and initiatives

• You can communicate your findings effectively to non-technical staff

• You have excellent project management and presentation skills

• You have experience in analyzing data and automating complex data handling through SQL and Python

• You are used to working with visualization tools such as Looker or Tableau

• Strong verbal and written communication skills

• Nice to have:

• Familiarity with Data Mesh Architecture.

• Experience in productionalizing machine-learned models

• Experience with Event Streaming and FastData Architecture.
