Job Overview

Your Tasks

Expanding the index offering of core Solactive equity benchmarks
Developing custom index strategies in cooperation with our reputable, global client base
Calculating historical performance simulations (back-testing) for new investment strategies
Drafting index guidelines and supporting documents/analysis
Setting up indices for calculation and publication via data vendors
Coordinating internal processes with our operations, sales and marketing teams for a successful launch

Your Profile

Academic degree in Economics, (quantitative) Finance, Business Engineering or similar
Affinity for capital markets
High proficiency level in Microsoft Excel/VBA is essential
Further proven Python programming skills are desired
Ideally first practical experience in the index business or a comparable field
Experience with data vendor terminals is a plus (e.g. FactSet, Reuters or Bloomberg)
Highly motivated to work independently, and complete tasks in a timely and accurate manner
Focused on top-quality service
Self-confidence and team spirit
Intercultural competence and excellent communication skills
