Job Description

Duties include, but are not limited to

• Bluetooth SIG certification of wireless/IoT communication device
• Certification testing (radio, profile, protocol) costing and project scheduling
• Liaison with national and international (North America, China, Germany) sales teams and laboratories
• Customer and marketing support, including sales support

Requirements and required skills / Required Experience and Knowledge

5+ years design of wireless communication equipment at an electrical equipment/industrial equipment manufacturer or TIC (testing, inspection, and certification) company Experience in development/testing/certification and certification work

• Experience with wireless test and measurement equipment (e.g., spectrum analyzers, signal generators)
• Experience providing technical support to customers.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in communications engineering is a plus
• Knowledge of wireless equipment test methods
• Strong problem solving skills
• Good project management skills
• Working level of English experience (reading English standards, email, internal and external correspondence, English conversation skills required)
• Native level of Japanese
• PC skills (Word, Excel, Power Point, etc.) required
• Ability to take an interest in everything and act proactively
• Ability to work in a team

Preferred experience and knowledge

• BQC (Bluetooth Qualification Certifier) holder preferred
• Knowledge of wireless technology and Bluetooth is a plus
• Knowledge of radio laws and regulations of various countries is a plus.
