Job Description

CoreGo is expanding and is looking for a Sales Manager (Germany) to establish and build a client base in the German market. This is a senior management role within the CoreGo team, and an opportunity for the successful candidate to join a dynamic and fast-growing international company.

Founded in 2015, CoreGo is a Finnish company that specialises in innovative payment and access control solutions for events, festivals and venues. We design, build and deliver safe and reliable technical solutions for our clients' requirements.

From small tasting events to music festivals with 100,000 visitors, our modular approach allows us to offer the right solution for each of our clients needs. CoreGo brought the first RFID payment solution to the Finnish market and now introduces an all-in-one device that combines our cloud based access control and cash register application with the mobility of the latest Android payment terminal.

Tasks

As the Sales Manager Germany you are responsible for the sales of our payment and access control solutions in Germany and the achievement of agreed sales and revenue targets. We are looking for a hard-working, driven, and experienced sales manager with the ability to work independently.

Taking ownership of market research and lead generation, your responsibilities will include e.g.:

  • planning and overseeing initiatives to open different market segments
  • identify and establish new channel partners
  • carry out research to find new opportunities
  • contacting potential clients to arrange meetings
  • collaborate on existing sales projects
  • consult with potential customers about their payment and access control requirements
  • prepare customer specific proposals and offers
  • support existing customers and represent CoreGo at trade fairs, conferences and events

You are able to identify and develop opportunities in different sectors, through your own analysis of the customer, market and competitive situation. You regularly visit prospective clients and customers; travelling 3-4 days a week, with at least 1-day a week on-site and participate in sales related activities and meetings. Depending on the arrangement, the work can be performed from a home office or from another city in Germany.

Requirements

Being able to work independently and a can-do approach are considered important for this role.

  • passionate salesperson with a proven track record for B2B sales within the event or hospitality industry
  • sales-orientated, with have a hunger to generate leads and then chasing and closing new business opportunities
  • independent approach to work, with the ability to start a project on your own initiative
  • strong at building relationships and having excellent communication skills
  • suitable educational background
  • knowledge of cash register systems and IT skills are considered as advantage
  • fluent German and English language skills round off your profile
  • be able to manage the big picture of the German market
  • have flexibility, a good attitude and a desire to develop your expertise
  • driving license

The chosen candidate for this role will receive comprehensive training at the beginning of their employment, which will provide them with the product and market knowledge necessary to succeed. The CoreGo team will also support them throughout their employment, providing sales and production assistance as required.
