Senior Accountant (m/f/x)

As a (Senior) Accountant (m/f/x) at Temedica, you will work in an international team that has many years of complex experience. With your know-how, you will take responsibility for our financial accounting and shape the further development of our finance team and the scaling of the associated processes with us. You report directly to our VP Finance and have two other colleagues who support you in accounting matters and work closely with you.

Your Role with us

• You prepare monthly and annual financial statements according to HGB.
• You are responsible for the ongoing recording and booking of all accounting transactions (general ledger activities and accounts receivable), including analyses and independent processing of ad hoc enquiries from management.
• You are the contact person for tax issues and support us in the preparation of tax returns.
• You prepare documents for audits, tax audits, tax audits and financing rounds (due diligence / data room) and are the contact person for auditors, banks and authorities.
• You support our finance team in ensuring and permanently optimising the proper processes within the finance department. You also work on customizing and automating existing workflow systems.

What you bring to the table

• You have completed an apprenticeship as a financial accountant, a tax assistant (m/f/d) or a business degree.
• You have several years of professional experience (at least 5 years) in the area of balance sheet accounting in an international environment, ideally with one of the Big 4 auditing companies or within a fast-scaling start-up environment.
• You are very good with DATEV and MS Office - especially Excel.
• You have analytical skills, a strong sense of quality and a willingness to constantly learn new topics, coupled with the ability to quickly grasp processes and concisely present optimization potential.
• You have very good German and good English skills (min. B2).
