DevOps/Network Engineer

Glartek, founded in 2017, is a fast-growing leader in Augmented Reality (AR) solutions for the Manufacturing Industry and our mission is to increase the efficiency and safety of production and maintenance processes. Our software solutions combine the AR and Internet of Things (IoT) domains to bring visibility, optimization and reassurance of field operations. Glartek has offices in Lisbon and Leiria, Portugal. The company has very large customers such as EDP and Renault and have raised over 1.5M in venture capital.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of the growth of the company, reporting directly to the engineering team. This intense and demanding role will require you to be involved in all different projects and technologies. Tasks

• Develop automation and tools with a DevOps mindset on one or more strategic initiatives in the Infrastructure engineering team;
• Follow best practices about scale, performance, geo-distribution, multi-cloud, code maintenance, documentation etc.;
• Enjoy a full ownership model: you build it you own it;
• Support the colleagues in using and extending the automation and tools so that they can deliver faster, better, harder, stronger.
• Ensure that all services are compliant with the ISO/IEC 27001 Standard

Requirements

• A Software Engineer passionate about infrastructure, security, and automation;
• Strong Linux skills, including provisioning, troubleshooting, and hardening;
• Passionate with public cloud providers' services;
• Understanding of logging and monitoring solutions;
• Enthusiastic, you like to help others and you re not afraid of challenges;
• You believe in open source and knowledge sharing;
• Fluent in English (both spoken and written).
• Basic knowledge of the ISO/IEC 27001 Standard.
