As a Business Consulting Marketplace Specialist at Spryker, you will be at the forefront to enable sophisticated transactional business models beyond retail, eCommerce & desktop. We are looking to bring your Marketplace experience into our team to assess and guide our customers across all industries and create a global impact on their Marketplace Business Models. You will support customers and define action plans based on workshops, analysis, research & business reviews. This, of course, goes in hand with your commitment to a hands-on mentality paired with common sense to nurture Marketplace success.
Your challenges
- Guide prospects & customers with strategic and operational recommendations to grow and improve their Marketplace Business
- Design strategies to scale Marketplace Operations and merchants' performance
- Assist customers with the design and setup of flexible Operating Models for their Marketplace Business Model
- Support customers to adapt to the Operator role by acting as a sparring partner and sharing best practices
- Advise which KPIs to select and how to optimise them in order to boost the Marketplace s success
- Coach and train internal and external teams about Marketplace strategies
- Manage multiple (consulting) projects of different scope, focus, and setup
- Establish and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders like consulting partners, enabling services, sales, and marketing
- Be on top of it all and keep abreast of industry news, technologies, trends, and opportunities, piloting and implementing emerging technologies for e-commerce
Your profile
- You have 3+ years of relevant experience in Strategy and Operations in the field of Digital Marketplace, additional experience in E-Commerce or Digital Business is a plus
- You are an expert on Marketplace Operating Models and know the required roles and processes
- You have strong project management skills as well as relevant experience and understanding of Marketplace use cases
- You have a well-developed ability to independently create and effectively deliver presentations, C-Level meetings and derive opportunities in a structured manner
- You possess very good Powerpoint & Excel Skills
- You are highly empathic and communicative with a strong personality, are very friendly and passionate, analytical, process-driven, and used to multitasking
- You are ambitious, willing to take over responsibility and drive projects independently with manager support
- You have a (bachelor) degree in business, business informatics, or online marketing
- Fluent in English in writing, reading, and conversation
- This role requires mostly in-house, virtual communication to clients but you re up to some travel to customer sites every now and then
