Our data collaboration portal serves as a critical component of decentriq's user experience. Contribute to growing our existing platform using PostGraphile/Postgres, Hapi, GraphQL, Apollo and React.js. We are looking for a senior software engineer (>=80%, starting as soon as possible) to join our mission. The work location can be fully remote (+/- 4h CET) or in the Zurich/Berlin office.

Tasks

• Scaling backend systems as well as developing open-source SDKs and public APIs
• Working closely with the frontend team to help grow our data collaboration platform
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team, including design, product management, and other engineering teams

Requirements

• Master/Bachelor Degree or PhD in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering and 2+ years of professional experience
• Built and maintained high-performance, scalable systems using Node.js frameworks like Hapi, koa or express
• Proficiency with Postgres, ideally including exposing and securing GraphQL APIs (postgraphile, Prisma)
• Experience in API & service architecture design
• Solid understanding of the client/server technology stack (HTTP, REST, compression, serialization)
• Plus: Technical leadership experience
