Software Engineer (m/f/x)

We are looking for a curious, motivated and passionate Software Engineer to join our growing team! As a Software Engineer, you will design, architect, and build core platform services, and together build out the next generation of our software.

To be a successful Software Engineer, you should embody a passion for continuous improvement and test-driven development, be an advocate of software craftsmanship, take pride in your work and enjoy taking full ownership of projects from conception to production. You are a self-starter, curious, not afraid to ask when in doubt, a quick learner, and excited about learning new technologies.

Tasks

• Design and implement software solutions.
• Deliver across product life-cycle, from concept/requirements to final product.
• Write clean, well-designed, reusable and testable code and tests.
• Stay up-to-date with terminology, concepts and best practices for modern web technologies.
• Document and maintain software functionality and architecture.
• Work as part of a dynamic team and collaborate with other software developers.

Requirements

• 3+ years of work experience in building modern web services.
• Excellent experience with Javascript & Typescript.
• One or two software engineering projects that you can talk about, showing off some of your work.
• You are a systems thinking and you have experience designing, building and maintaining software for use in production.
• Focus on rapid delivery without sacrificing technical excellence.
• Can stitch together many different services and processes even if you have not worked with them before.
• Knowledge of professional software engineering and best practices for the full software development life cycle.
• Familiarity with code management (GIT) and continuous integration build and deploy.
• Passionate about solving problems in an elegant and principled manner.
• Self-driven and not afraid to take complete ownership of your tasks and champion efforts to get the tasks to completion.
• Proven experience in a fast-paced technical, problem-solving environment as a software developer
• Masters or Bachelors degree in a relevant science or engineering discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
