Quality Assurance Analyst (m/f/x)

YOUR MISSION

As our QA Analyst (m/f/x), you will help and mentor our engineers in testing our application including its features and find ways to break our system!

YOUR TASKS

This is a unique opportunity for a driven, highly skilled individual who wants to be part of a fast-moving B2B startup from day one.

We are looking for an experienced QA Analyst (m/w/x), who wants to leverage his/her expertise to shape our digital infrastructure and take Procuros from the prototype stage to the B2B-integration-layer of the future.

You will help our engineers in testing, but taking into account that a well-tested feature is the engineer s responsibility, not from the QA Analyst (m/f/x) alone. Your mentorship, on which scenarios need to be covered and how to create those scenarios for certain features, is paramount. On top of that: you will find ways to break the system and build test automation for our most important features!

Task include:

• Helping our engineers in testing (pair or split), as it is the engineers responsibility to develop a well-tested feature.
• Testing big features or breaking changes in the system.
• Mentoring our engineers on which scenarios need to be covered for certain features and how to create those scenarios.
• Being aware of what can be broken from the current change or feature.
• Working with POs and the initial input to create tasks and QA hints.
• Finding ways to break the system, e.g. APIs, connectors, features, changes.
• Building regression tests and test automation with a clear priority and vision of our most important features.

YOUR PROFILE

• You have 3+ years experience in a QA analyst or similar role / have worked 3+ years as a tester before.
• You are fluent in German and English
• You have experience in testing applications and its features.
• You have knowledge of testing REST APIs + API documentation.
• You are familiar with various QA automation tools and processes.
• You enjoy working in a startup environment
• You are a great team player and love to interact with colleagues

Bonus points if

• You have had experience testing Laravel applications
• You are comfortable with reading programming languages: PHP and JavaScript
• You have worked with EDI in the past
• You have experience with SaaS applications
