(Senior) Backend Engineer (w/m/d)

Founded in 2019 and supported by experienced serial entrepreneurs and VCs, we turned on the turbo this year and are on a strong growth path to become the leading provider of B2B transaction automation. We already connect thousands of companies and automate transactions with a volume of several million euros every week.

So that even more companies can automate their B2B transactions with our product, we are looking for passionate and talented employees who will take the product and the company to the next level.

This is your mission

We are looking for a (Senior) Backend Engineer (w/m/d) who is passionate about what they do and ready to take on responsibility. You will be an integral part of the product team where we build AI-based applications to automate repetitive business processes such as data extraction and entry, email classification, email data extraction, and business transaction routing.

As a Backend Engineer, you will work on the following:

• Decide on technical architecture and infrastructure
• Develop software along our definition of done
• Develop software in the entire tech stack
• Provide feedback to team members on where and how to improve
• Help out and mentor other team members to ensure overall development quality & velocity
• Live Continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for streamlining work and reducing waste
• Be accountable for service levels
• Write documentation where necessary
• Take care of IT Security and Data Privacy

Your profile

We're looking for professional team players that like to work in an Agile team setting where we share knowledge and push each other to deliver the best result possible.

Since you will work very closely with our founding team on our AI Technology we believe it is important that you feel comfortable with at least some of the points below:

• Fluent in Python or if you consider yourself polyglot
• Experience with Django, Flask or similar
• Experience in setting up cloud infrastructure with terraform
• Kubernetes Experience
• CI/CD Experience
• Experience working with Graphql
