Job Description:
- Demo and discuss client requirements
- Serve as the hands-on system administrator to lead and drive configuration and implementation of BlackLine Products
- Coaches and consults with clients to advocate the features and functionality of BlackLine products during configuration in order to obtain buy-in and user adoption.
- Communicates with key stakeholders to ensure risk awareness, set expectations, and define next steps in a timely manner.
- Work with team members in India to drive efficiency across the board for the project.
- Cross-functional collaboration and communication to quickly understand, troubleshoot, find root cause, and resolve system issues for BlackLine end users. Trains and advises clients to properly use appropriate products to best fit their individual needs based on best practices and use cases.
- Offers recommendations for improving system performance gaps and system options to increase efficiencies and achieve best practice standards.
- Work with BlackLine Product team to test functionality in case of product updates.
- Drives and manages all support tickets to resolve issues within SLA.
- Assesses and troubleshoots application issues during the support period.
- Performs other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree with major in Accounting / Cost Accounting or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge of accounting terminology and processes (e.g. month-end close process)
- 3+ years of experience as a BlackLine system administrator
- BlackLine Certified Consultant for BlackLine Products - Core and Journal Entries
- Three plus years of experience in the audit/accounting industry preferred
- At least 1 year of experience in Consulting Services, Client Services and/or Professional Services environment
- Demonstrated experience in implementation or Support projects
- Demonstrated experience in a client-facing role - communicating and presenting to a diverse set of people across groups and organizational levels
- Knowledge of MS Office,
- Excellent communication skills, strong organizational skills and attention to detail

- Strong client relationship skills
- Ability to prioritize with competing priorities
- Ability to navigate ambiguous or difficult situations or personalities

- Software background preferred
- Technology background/experience preferred
- Previous experience documenting Business Requirements for software development and technical specifications
