Growing Co in the Lake Forest area has a need for a Supply Chain Manager. This is a full time opening with full benefits package.
Manage the day-to-day activities of procurement/vendor management and warehouse management including shipping and receiving of items • Hire, train, develop, counsel, and discipline staff as appropriate • Ensure item and supply-related data are maintained properly • Work with finance and accounting to provide accurate pricing, and other supply chain-related costs including staffing, inventory, and other variable, and fix costs • Collaborate with sales, marketing, accounting, and customer service teams to complete projects and ensure uninterrupted high-quality supply • Demonstrate a level of expertise in products, procurement, inventory, vendors, and system data • Provide effective visibility of inventory and vendor services to assist in the company’s strategic business decisions • Use resources effectively and ensures compliance with budget • Promote an ethical, safe, and inclusive work environment with a collaborative spirit with all company employees • Communicate timely and effectively to determine clear objectives, priorities, and accountability within the team Bring this with you! •
Minimum 5+ years in supply chain management, logistics, or inventory management role • Minimum 2+ years as Supply Chain Manager with experience with direct reports • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain, operations, or related field • Knowledge of computerized purchasing and inventory systems • Demonstrated knowledge and skills in adaptability, decision making, customer service, influence/negotiation, interpersonal relations, problem-solving, oral & written communication, and teamwork • Knowledge and experience in computerized procurement and inventory systems • Prior experience with ERP systems (e.g. Netsuite, SAP, Oracle), Netsuite is preferred • Sense of ownership and accountability in your performance and its impact on the company’s success • Ability to work in a growth-minded company • Excellent knowledge of financial and budgeting, cost analysis, and inventory analytics • Any procurement, inventory, supply chain certifications (e.g. CPIM, CSCP) and/or Lean, Six Sigma Green Belt Certification preferred
