Test Engineer (m/f/d)

Sicoya is a technology leader in silicon photonics based interconnect solutions with headquarter in Berlin, Germany. We offer monolithically integrated semiconductor chips and transceivers for next generation data center. The team consists of highly professional design engineers and managers with many years of experience in bringing state of the art products to the market. In this position you will dive into a unique challenge, as you are involved in the design and the development of the next generation of optical transceivers.

Tasks

-Development, verification and implementation of volume production test processes in the field of semiconductor and electro-optical industry

-Independent project planning and monitoring of status and progress of performed actions

-Automatization of test procedures and integration of processes in the production line; Optimization of the volume production flow

-Installation of appropriate test setups, performing of GR&R analysis and test measurements

-Performing of failure mode error analyses, review related information and evaluate counter measures

-Documentation of process development progress, creating of work instructions and training of other engineers and operators

-Cycle time optimization of test processes

-Organization and supervision of test procedure and equipment transfer including release procedures to other facilities

-Technical contact to supplier, partners at other facilities and technology partners

Requirements

-versatile engineer with profound background in optic and electronic testing with industrial background, preferably with experience in the semiconductor, electronic or optical industry

-+3 years of experience in industrial environments

-Profound knowledge in RF testing

-Proactive problem-solving skills

-Team player that thrives in a dynamic working environment

-Professional working proficiency in English is mandatory and knowledge of German is an asset

-Willingness to travel
