DataStage Developer

Job Description :

• Experience in ETL DataStage and Snowflake development
• Experience in designing and developing highly scalable distributed data processing systems and Data Warehouse.
• Experience in creating a data warehouse, design-related extraction, loading data functions, testing designs, data modeling, and ensure the smooth running of applications Analyzing data, identifying gaps, issues, patterns, and trends Analyze application dependencies and conduct an impact assessment of changes
• Experience in Snowflake data modeling, ELT using Snowflake SQL, implementing stored procedures and standard DWH+ETL concepts Demonstrates the ability to design, code and test ETL routines Should clearly articulate the processing difference between ETL/ELT Understands the principles of good ETL design
• Knowledge in Cloud technologies- AWS/GCP/AZURE Strong in DataStage and Shell Scripting Strong SQL (Transformation/Analytical Functions)
• Experience with executing projects in Agile environments (Kanban and Scrum)
• Experience with shell scripting, Python, control good understanding of database design concepts - Transactional / Datamart / Data warehouse, etc.
• Good interpersonal and client-handling skills with the ability to manage expectations and explain technical detail.
• Ability to multitask, prioritizes tasks, and quickly adjusts in a rapidly changing environment.
• Extremely good interpersonal skills with working with cross-functional teams located across geographies High level of dedication, initiative, vision, and enthusiasm
