We are expanding our team to keep up with the growing business. X-ISS is recruiting a talented, passionate, and experienced Managed Services Manager/Director to lead our delivery organization to bring in efficiencies and allow the business to scale and meet our plans.
We are a small, friendly, and fast-paced organization that sees our culture and the way we deliver exceptional service to customers as central to everything that we do. The role is core to our next phase of growth and will focus on the operational effectiveness of our unique HPC Managed Services. The successful candidate will interact with all parts of the company as well as with external clients and manage the Program plan for the entire organization.
IT Managed Services Manager/Director Responsibilities:
Managing the operations team in all aspects of day-to-day service delivery
Attainment of short- and long-term operational goals
Building vision and roadmap for current and future Managed Service and Product offerings and executing initiatives to drive the delivery of those roadmaps
Capturing gaps in operational processes, and services, and implementing improvements
Building a great culture - a cohesive team centered around trust, high standards of delivery and commitment, and a positive working environment
Hiring and training of new technical employees
IT Services Manager/Director Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree in a Technical and/or Business-related field
Must have at least 8 12 years of experience
Need strong Linux Administration background with recent at least 3-4 years of experience leading a managed service team.
Work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment within a small business
Ability to organize and prioritize workload
Experience in IT systems management and best practices in that field
Experience in IT Systems team management
Excellent communication and people management skills
Excellent IT program and project planning, execution, and reporting skills
Excellent resource planning skills
Excellent leadership and customer service skills
Excellent computer skills and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools, service management software, and general tools for business management
