Our client is a highly sought after NSW Government Organisation who are seeking Job Evaluation Specialist to join their team.
The Job Evaluation Specialist delivers quality and efficient job evaluation services and handles the completion of assigned job evaluations including communication, documentation, reporting and review processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate assigned job descriptions (JD) using Mercer International Position Evaluation (IPE) methodology to ensure an equitable and consistent evaluation process within agreed service time frames.
- Conduct an initial review of the job description and accompanying documentation, liaise with the HR Business Partnering team/internal stakeholder to ensure comprehensive information is available before evaluation
- Provide detailed and comprehensive feedback and explanation where the outcome is different to that which was anticipated
- Provide expert advice and guidance in articulating role accountabilities, and assistance in drafting and/or editing JDs to clearly express the requirements of a role and cover off matters of compliance
Selection Criteria:
- Tertiary qualification, preferably in Human Resources or equivalent.
- Extensive knowledge and demonstrated experience of Mercer IPE job evaluation methodology
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills to assess job descriptions and information from stakeholders
- High level of computer literacy particularly MS Office as well as tools provided by external service providers
On offer is a 6 month contract at a highly sought after Government Organisation, with a highly competitive daily rate.
