Structural Engineer

Responsibilities:

• Make structural design calculations (structural analysis/design of steel, concrete, masonry and wood structures
  
• Identify/resolve complex problems
  
• Coordinate Structural engineering work (plans, schedules, various tasks)
  
• Provide drawing/sketches to incorporate into other project drawings and assure that all meet design standards
  
• Research design options including shop drawing reviews, code issue research, and file organization/maintenance
  
• Keep Project Manager updated on workload and changes to scope/service
  
• Provides data for evaluation of budget compliance and project billings
  
• Prepare progress/status reports and correspondence
  

Requirements:

• B.S. degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering with structural emphasis
  
• 8+ years of experience
  
• PE License
  
• Proficient in RAM Analysis, RISA, AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office
  
• OSHPD and DSA experience preferred
