About the Team

They are a Sydney-based online retailer of photography equipment, studio lighting, flash, continuous and led lighting, video accessories, paper backdrops and a wide variety of other photographic accessories.



Why Are We Hiring?

They are looking for a Retail Manager that will help them to mentor, manage the team and someone who can deal with challenging situations.


Job Description:

  • Drive sales and lead team performance
  • Manage and mentor a team of up to 6 people
  • Manage the daily activities of your team, and business to drive financial performance
  • Optimise the productivity of the team by leveraging workforce management
  • Drive high performance, customer-focused service and selling culture through role modelling, regular communication, feedback and recognition
  • Maximise the team s service and selling activities by minimizing operational activities, managing them effectively and delegating appropriately
  • Lead, empower and inspire your team
  • Maximise time spent with the CS Team to manage the business, understand the customer, coach the team and embed new ways of operating
  • Conduct showroom and customer service audits


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
  • 3 years+ experience as a retail manager, leader or similar.
  • A retail store background in the electronics industry is preferred. However, would consider transferable skills from other industries if you have the right attitude and are willing to learn
  • People leadership skills with a hands-on approach are essential
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team to achieve sales and meet KPIs
  • Experience in performance management will be highly regarded
  • Superior customer service and selling skills
  • Strong retail, financial and business acumen
  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently on prioritizing and meeting deadlines
