Job Description
This is a remote position.
GovFirst is currently seeking a100% Remote UI/UX Designerto join our Client's Solutions Delivery team.
What you will do
In this role you will engage with our client s customers and work with the Solutions Delivery team to implement software solutions using our client's award-winning Software Platform.
Your responsibilities include gathering user requirements, designing graphic elements, and building navigation components. To be successful in this role, you should have experience with design software and wireframe tools.
Ultimately, you ll create both functional and appealing features that address our client s customers needs and help us grow our customer base.
Responsibilities
Strong solution architecture, technical solution delivery, communication and client-facing skills
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers, consultants and engineers
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
- Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
- Build page navigation buttons and search fields
- Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
- Create original graphic designs (e.g., images, sketches and tables)
- Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g., responsiveness)
- Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
- Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images.
Required Skills
- Experience with Web front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, React, Angular, Vue, PHP, Python, R, .Net, Java
- Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
- Portfolio of design projects
- Knowledge of wireframe tools (e.g., Wireframe.cc and InVision)
- Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
- Team spirit; strong communication skills to collaborate with various stakeholders
- Good time-management skills
Desired Skills
- Experience of using no-code/low-code to create Web applications
Required Education:
- BSc in Design, Computer Science or relevant field
Required Work Authorization:
- U.S. Citizen Preferred
- Green Card Holder for exceptional candidates.
Required Clearance:
- Not Required, but Public Trust and Secret clearance can be accepted.
Overall Requirements 5-10 years' experience in administrative role reporting directly to upper management US Citizen Strong time-management skills and the ability to organize and coordinate multiple projects at once Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other office productivity tools, with aptitude to learn new software and systems Flexible team player willing to do what it takes to get the job done; adaptable and enjoys a challenge Superb written and verbal communication skills Ability to keep company confidences Required Work Authorization Must be a US Citizen Job Type: Full-time, Direct Hire
