Backend Developer

Summary: Our client is seeking an analytical backend developer to join their technical team, you ll work closely with other team members and use your understanding of programming languages and tools to analyze current codes and industry developments, formulate more efficient processes, ensure system consistency, solve problems, and create a more seamless experience for users.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Participating in the entire application lifecycle, focusing on coding and debugging
  

• Writing clean code to develop functional web applications
  

• Compiling and analyzing data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
  

• Managing cutting-edge technologies to improve legacy applications
  

• Collaborating with Front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic and enhance the user experience.
  

• Building reusable code and libraries for future use
  

• Developing ideas for new programs, products, or features by monitoring industry developments and trends.
  

• Recording data and reporting it to proper parties, such as clients or leadership.
  

• Participating in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new programming languages, and better assist other team members.
  

• Taking lead on projects, as needed.
  

Requirements

The requirements listed below are representative of the Knowledge, Skill and/or ability required to perform this job satisfactorily

• Proven work experience as a Back-end developer
  

• Strong understanding of the web development cycle and programming techniques and tools.
  

• In depth knowledge of Node JS, Express JS, Javascript.
  

• Proficiency in Postgres SQL and Socket.IO
  

• Excellent analytical and time management skills
  

• Teamwork skills with a problem-solving attitude
