Cash Application Supervisor

One of our clients, a Shared Service Company is looking for aCash Application Supervisor. This Supervisor will report directly to theCash ApplicationManager.

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Perform all activities related to the receiving of payments (checks, EFT, Credit Card), and application of payments to customer accounts.
  
• Ensure high-quality interactions with internal and external customers.
  
• Act as a key point of contact within the cash application processes for external customers
  
• Partner with customer facing teams, building strong relationships with both internal and external customers
  
• Coordinate with other team leads to ensure strong working relationships and well-defined handoffs between teams.
  
• Provide regular updates to SSC management of KPI s, analysis and trends
  
• Work with Internal and external audit teams to review and enforce policies

• Ability to work well with cross-functional teams and multi-task
  
• Excellent communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills, attention to detail and ability to communicate complicated issues effectively
  
• Demonstrated ability to perform consistently under varying business pressure as well as ability to adapt to a quickly changing environment
  
• Computer or technical knowledge
  
• Effective problem-solving skills5 years of relevant working experience in a finance function in Multinational Companies with complex reporting practices and with exposure to various reporting systems.
  
• 2-3 years of experience leading teams

• Identify and research discrepancies in the miscellaneous unidentified on account amounts.
  
• Perform application of credit card payments.
  
• Responsible for the application of checks, and wire transfer payments, identifying and correcting the differences between the bank reports and the company s sub-ledger daily, and avoiding reconciliation issues at the end of the month.
