We are seeking a Saudi attorney to join the Law Organization of This Company in our Litigation & In-Kingdom Advisory Practice in Dhahran. The Law Organization is responsible for providing legal counsel and advisory services to This Company business lines. The Litigation & In-Kingdom Advisory Practice is responsible for handling cases before judicial bodies in the Kingdom and provide relevant legal advisory services.
Duties & Responsibilities:
You will be required to perform the following:
- Advocating on behalf of the Company, as delegated, before various in-Kingdom judicial and quasi-judicial bodies in relation to Saudi law matters.
- Coordinating with internal Company organizations to gather facts and draft briefs containing legal arguments to defend the Company in pending and potential disputes.
- Conducting legal analysis and research to provide legal advice on issues/disputes involving a variety of subject matters, including, for example, real estate, contract, enforcement and bankruptcy.
- Advocating for the Companys legal position before various governmental bodies.
- Evaluating legal risks associated with Company business and operations; engaging with concerned stakeholders and providing solution focused advice to ensure business continuity and compliance with applicable laws.
- Drafting and reviewing correspondences to various governmental entities on specific subject matters.
- Monitoring and reviewing proposed regulatory changes to assess the potential impact and applicability to the Company, and develop strategies, in coordination with relevant stakeholders, to mitigate such impact.
Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- The candidate must have a Bachelor s degree in Law (LL.B.) or a Bachelor s in Sharia from a Saudi university
- Fluent in Arabic and English
- A candidate with relevant in-Kingdom experience and an LL.M. degree is preferred.
