Job Description
Customer Profile
The Customer is the first Digital Lost Property tool for Business and Consumer, the only platform that allows to get lost item back wherever they are, at any time. They are focused on business and provides, among others, airlines, municipalities, airports, transport companies, hotels, cars sharing and rental, shopping centres, universities, amusement parks, taxis, gyms, events, with the possibility to implement their private digital Lost Properties database benefiting from the value-added Customer Care services offered by FML which acts as an aggregator.
Project Description and Work Tasks
The programmer will initially focus on upgrading a legacy application, evaluating an incremental upgrade version by version or a port of the code to a new rail 7 application. The customer stuck at version 2.3 of ruby and 4.2.6 of rails that must be upgraded to version 3.1 of ruby and 7 of rails. The project must start ASAP. In addition, as a second task, will have to work on the infrastructure, improving performance on AWS. Spot will be involved in bug fixing and developing new features including new white-labelled tenants.
Requirements
Technical and Personal Competences
- At least 5+ years experience in AWS
- Knowledge of Ruby
- Knowledge of Rails
Language skills
English and Italian.
