Job description
The client utilizes an online application that assists field staff in determining a farm s water quality risk. Many conservation practices targeting water quality have benefits for other conservation goals, including wildlife, soil health, climate, and integrated pest management. They are seeking to modernize their application and upgrade its project records and grants management system and procedures by implementing a user-friendly, web-based, dedicated platform that centralizes, facilitates, and manages all components of its certification and associated processes.
The main objectives of this project are to:
Create a searchable producer database
Modernize the online assessment tool by updating the tool s current code and updating current features, such as:
The storage of records, contracts, and photos for the online assessment tool
Incorporation of tracking of new conservation practices
Incorporation of grant and scholarship application submittal, tracking, and storage of reimbursement documents
Facilitation of analysis of project data, audit generation, and report compilation
Continuation of use of our API with the Land O Lakes Truterra tool (which streamlines data needed for water quality certification) and possibilities for other APIs
Integration of the pollution reduction calculator (RUSLE2 and WEPS) and greenhouse gas reduction calculator.
Responsibilities
Provide a Project Plan and Cost Proposal for development, testing, implementation, and training.
Minimum Qualification
Five (5)years experience performing ITproject managementfunctions.
Two (2) engagements lastingat leastsix (6) months each inProject Managerroles.
Three (3) years combinedexperience managing projects that includesystem modernization.
Three (3) years combined experience managing projects that include cloud applications and/or cloud architecture.
