At The Enrichery, our company s mission is to cultivate success, confidence, independence, and responsibility within every student. Our Academic Coaches don t just help kids with their homework; using our innovative Executive Functioning curriculum, our services extend beyond traditional tutoring to provide our students with lifelong habits for success during recurring one-on-one sessions.
The Academic Coach Experience:
Consistent hours with recurring weekly sessions; paired with students based on your personality and teaching style for the best fit
Paid training with opportunities to shadow veteran Academic Coaches; you ll have access to Executive Functioning resources and other study materials to utilize within sessions
Personal development of your own Executive Functioning skills through teaching students that will be transferable to success in your career path
Regular feedback from the Head of Coach Development to strengthen your skills
Opportunity to teach Test Preparation in addition to other subjects (paid Test Preparation training included)
A collaborative and energetic environment with all sessions taking place in our office
A community that supports students beyond sessions and seeks local opportunities for involvement
Currently attending or graduated from a 4-year university
Strong written and verbal communication skills as well as active listening skills
Solid ability to teach content while catering to varying learning styles
Desire to make an impact on K-12 students
AP-level knowledge of at least 2 core classes
Subjects our students primarily need help with: English/Writing, Social Studies, History, Economics, Government, Mathematics (all levels), Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Natural Sciences, all elementary-level subjects, Spanish, Geography, Computer Science, Statistics, Theology, Psychology, and ACT, SAT, and ISEE Test Preparation (training provided for Test Prep)
Frequent communication with students parents on progress
Excellent social skills with the ability to adapt to different situations while making students feel comfortable and supported
Evening & Weekend Availability of approximately 15 hours per week during the fall semester (Fall sessions occur between 3pm-9pm Monday-Thursday; must be available for at least 4 hours on Sundays within the hours of 10am-7pm).
Full Time
