Job Description
SA&D Strategy & Business Intelligence (SBI) Team contributes to the definition of commercial targets and to the global strategy of the GBU Soda Ash & Derivatives. To make it happen, the Team collects intelligence about the market, assesses the performance of the GBU and defines scenarios for the future.
The global team, which is composed of 6 members, is looking for a SBI Analyst focused on Asia - Pacific (APAC) region. The analyst reports to the APAC regional head of business, with a dotted line toward the global SBI manager. The APAC SBI Analyst is strongly embedded within the regional business team.
Missions
The incumbent will support the Commercial team for the Commercial campaign as well as the Management team for the Strategic projects, with a special focus on the following missions:
o Soda Ash and Sodium Bicarbonate supply / demand monitoring and forecast (market data, economic environment, etc) for the following geographies: China, India, other Asia - Pacific countries
o Deep-dive research into specific end-markets, customers and competitors
Technical skills
Data management
Data mining
English fluent is preferred to liaise with Mandarin speaking customers.
Chinese Mandarin is preferred to liaise with Mandarin speaking customers.
