Accounting Analyst

Lindsey Health is currently seeking an Accounting Analyst to join our growing team at our corporate office in Dallas, TX. Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, the Accounting Analyst will be responsible for functions such as posting monthly journal entries, reconciling accounts, and creating, updating, and analyzing monthly reports for management. Additionally, the Accounting Analyst will develop and direct the preparation of reports to compare actual results for prior periods.

Essential Duties:

• Direct the collection and presentation of data, analyses, and reports
  
• Pull and synthesize large P&L and balance sheet account reconciliations
  
• Ensure the reconciliation and analysis of related balance sheet accounts, inventory accounts, ledgers, and journals
  
• Assist with the creation and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports
  
• Assist with posting monthly journal entries
  
• Other duties as assigned
  

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in accounting, business, or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  
• 2 or more years of related experience required
  
• Advanced knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) practices and analytical methodologies
  
• Advanced written, verbal, and communication skills
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
