About Company: Our client is a reputable Construction Group with diversified business interest the Trading, Industrial Maintenance and Paint Manufacturing sectors with head office in Lagos, Nigeria.
Job Summary: The Company is looking to hire a smart and self-driven HR & Admin Officer that will support the business on recruitment and talent management functions across the group.
The role will be charged with the responsibility of processing employee data and updating the policies of the group. In addition, the role will assist with the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the Group wide recruitment process (job adverts, resumes screening, shortlisting candidates for interviews, preparing job descriptions)
- Create and implement effective onboarding plans.
- Coordinate with training centers for employee development and follow up until receiving training certificates.
- Monitor the time, attendance and leaves.
- Monitor the manpower movement (new joiners, leavers, transfers etc).
- Monitor Staff performance.
- Review the employment and working conditions to ensure legal compliance.
- Work closely with various departments, assist department heads to understand and implement policies procedures.
- Communicates with HMO for quality medical services.
- Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates
- Organize quarterly and annual employee performance reviews
- Maintain employee files and records in electronic and paper form
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations
Requirements
Key Requirements
- Bachelor s Degree in Social Sciences or any related field.
- 2-3 years work experience in HR Operations
- Professional membership of CIPM is an added advantage
- Effective organizational skills
- Excellent employee relations, communication and team work skills
