Job Description
Software Engineers who have worked in various tech stacks like LAMP, K8s, but have a focus on Rails framework.
You will be joining on the ground floor helping build our engineering team here in India building our next generation of product (proudly Made in India)
Our products are used by organizations all over the world and we are poised to keep growing our footprint
> Build, Maintain and enhance our SaaS product.
> Participate in sprint planning, ensuring effective de-composition of epics and user stories into estimated tasks and sub-tasks with clearly defined owners.
> Participate in agile stand ups and retrospectives. Proactively help and support colleagues remove impediments and continuously improve team productivity and satisfaction.
> Conduct code reviews and ensure a quality-centric team approach to development.
Requirements
You will be an engineer on a modern full stack Ruby on Rails application. You will be responsible working with the senior engineer for new feature design and implementation. You will also be making continuous improvements to the design and performance of an existing large and complex application. You will work on a collaborative team, building the team from ground up for Wizehive India.
Must Have:
> You are excited to work on a modern full stack Rails application including the Hotwire front end stack (Turbo/Stimulus/Action Cable)
> You have 3+ years of Ruby on Rails experience.
> You can handle the entire software development life cycle, end to end
> You have excellent communication skills. Excellent spoken and written English.
> Strong organizational skills and a details-oriented, meticulous work ethic.
> A good instinct for business and commercial value versus development effort.
