Indirect Buyer

Overview:

Key position in the Indirect Sourcing Team, together with your colleagues you re fully accountable of the procurement process and competitivity for the indirect spent containing consultancy, services, facility management, insurance, CAPEX & OPEX .

Direct reporting to the Indirect Sourcing Manager

Indirect report to the indirect Commodities managers and to the Unit Sourcing Manager.

Key network & Links:

This position is il full line with the indirect sourcing organization He/she will have to exchange information with :

• All product lines potential Sourcing Internal Customer network
  
• Sourcing Indirect Global network across Transport legal entities
  
• Finance networks Corporate and other Sector Sourcing Organization
  

Specific responsibilities of the role:

• Applies & support Transport sourcing rules, process & tools
  
• Identifies and inventory project and business needs
  
• Consolidates needs and defines sourcing strategy with theIndirect Sourcing Manager
  
• Negotiates cost reduction with suppliers
  
• Participates to panel elaboration
  
• Insures QCD achievement
  
• Places orders for projects on his/her scope
  
• Reports his/her results on a monthly basis to Indirect Sourcing network
  
• Establish, validate and follow up the completion of orders
  
• Makes sure that suppliers selected are complying with ethic code and SD Alstom charte
  
• Optimize and decrease total costs of ownership of purchasing families through strategy building with internal customers, supply base performance monitoring and development as well as internal ways of working optimization.
  
• Manages return of experience and gives feedback to the Indirect Sourcing manager and all stakeholders
