Cranfield Clarke Recruitment are searching for an Assistant Team Manager to join the Family Safeguarding Service within the social care service. As an Assistant Team Manager you will be reporting to the Group Manager, working within your designated priorities, You will manage and supervise yourteam to ensure high quality services to children; focused on good outcomes with timely interventions at the right level; within statutory guidelines. Supervision of team members on a day to day basis, including their performance management through regular support and appraisal is necessary in order to deliver a high quality and consistently high level of service at all times. You will be outcomes focused whilst ensuring security and safety of families are always your main priority.
Requirements
Main duties:
Offer a responsive and reliable service to the public.
Recording of budget and working towards strict deadlines
Effective management and supervision of social care staff,
Tirelessly ensuring children are safeguarded and their welfare promoted. Ensure that social workers record all case work, undertake assessments, analysis, decisions, care planning and actions on the necessary ICS systems
Signing off all decisions made and further discussing any issues that require clarification or further scrutiny with your manager and or appropriate staff members It is important to act always to prevent family breakdown or escalation of issues / risk through accurately recording the advice and guidance given and seeking further support where necessary.
Benefits
Competitive hourly pay rate offered. In addition a rate of 100 per week maybe offered to use towards either accommodation or mileage for candidates who live over 50 miles from the offices. A chance to improve services to children and families in the area and lead a dedicated team.
