Job Description
This is a remote position.
This is a remote position for contractors/freelancers within Spain.
My client is looking for a Senior Visual / UI Designer who has a passion for crafting engaging digital products to join our growing design team. This role is mainly focused on creating visual and interactive Graphic User Interface designs but will also be heavily involved in the whole discovery, ideation and UX design process. Central to this role is the creation of digital Design Systems; structured Brand Style Guides and UI Pattern Libraries that are not only simple, creative and beautiful but which also provide a consistent brand experience across multiple digital products for our many clients.
In addition to exceptional visual, UI and interaction design talent, success in this role is dependent on being highly self-motivated and organized, always open to feedback and critique, and being extremely collaborative.
Role Responsibilities
You will be leading the UI/Visual design on projects from research and conceptualization through to high-fidelity completed UI assets.
You will be the champion of the customer in all design related matters ensuring that the customer experience delivers delight as well as simplicity and engagement.
You will be workshopping and ideating design solutions with the wider All human design team and client stakeholders
You will be conducting extensive research into what products and experiences people love and what elements of design work best for people.
You will be developing and maintaining detailed design systems, specifying UX, visual, interaction and motion elements as well as documenting behaviors and usage guidelines
You will be crafting iconography and infographics
Designing micro interactions, animations and motion to enhance UI.
You will be building out interactive prototypes, assisting with usability testing and presenting design solutions to client stakeholders
You will be collaborating closely with the wider design and development teams to quickly iterating design solutions based on critique from peers and learnings from usability testing
You will be executing final, pixel perfect UI designs and package, spec, and prep for development and obsessively QA developed software for visual perfection, and provide detailed feedback to developers
You will set up and govern client design systems in conjunction with the wider UX/UI Design team to ensure product-wide visual consistency.
Requirements
The successful candidate should have:
5+ Years of Digital UI/interaction design experiences
Top tier user interface and interaction design skills
Experience designing mobile first and fully responsive web experiences
Deep understanding of design systems and logical design decision making
A real passion for visual design and typography
Obsessive attention to detail
Deeply collaborative and iterative approach to design
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Experience working closely with developers from conceptual stages to delivery
Proficiency in creating both low and high-fidelity prototypes
Experience in prototyping UI interactivity and in incorporating motion/animation.
A strong understanding of the tools and technologies involved in designing and building interactive digital experiences.
A keen knowledge of what is possible in modern Android, iOS, and web development and of design and interaction patterns and trends within each.
Proficiency with Figma, Adobe products and other design and prototyping tools.
A good knowledge of UX Design best practice methodologies
Experience working in Agile methodology
Bonus: Interest or experience in CSS animations and interactions
