The General Manager (GM) for Archive Digital is a key member ofthe EstorasGroup senior leadership team. You will be charged with developing and growing Archive Digital s businessbybuilding strong, industry-experienced teams, and driving evolution in both our clients and the marketplace. You will lead teams within a matrix environment and managing the P&L for the company. You are an entrepreneur who loves to build rather than maintaining the status quo. You bring with you, an existing, active, mid to large Enterprise client, that needs an agency to deploy and expand its vision for growth and success, through the execution of a proven digital marketing strategy.
Requirements
Specifically, you must have:
1. Ten years experience, managing a global digital agency, with focus on the US market
2. The ability to immediately drive business directly via personal relationships with major brands located in the US market
3. Experience growing a business, agency or consulting practice in the US market
4. Ten years extensive management experience, including global operational experience
5. Ten years Enterprise-level sales experience
6. Experience as a seasoned entrepreneur, with real world success
7. At least three work references who can speak to your possessing the skills we seek
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Lead business development with responsibility for proactively growingand developing new business opportunities. 75% of your job will be a direct salesto key accounts you will bring to the agency
- Grow and expand business in the USA. Archiveoperates globally, however the focus in 2023 is on the US market
- Business Acumen: Effectively manage a P&L and forecast growth to deliver on financial commitments
- Strategic Counsel: Utilize senior/executive level marketing experience to lead billable client engagements and provide strategic counsel to growing multi-national clients
- Driving Execution: translate goals into operational reality: break down strategic priorities or business initiatives into key tasks and identify accountabilities. Align resources to ensure effective implementation and delivery of required results
- Creativity/Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends: Constantly look for new solutions to customers challenges, being aware of innovations and finding ways to leverage them.
Key Skills to be demonstrated:
- Business Builder - The GM is experienced business builder. The GM is skilled at leading business development effortsand excels in scaling agency type of business. The main expectation will be to drive growth by 2X every year for next 3 years.
- Client Management - The GM is highly proficient at large scale client management with global responsibilities. You are responsible for developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients while demonstrating an understanding of their unique business needs. You will drive new business and develop existing clients.
- Data driven marketing experience - The GM has a reputation as an industry influencer and driver. You are someone who has a strong point of view on data driven marketing strategy and shares this viewpoint through articles, blogs and speaking engagements.
- Experienced in hiring and developing staff and building high performing teams and managing them in a distributed work environment.
- Must be able to travel globally, and make frequent trips to Vancouver, BC.
