Converged Core IP Data Network Engineering

Responsibilities:

• Plan and Implement of the various converged IP/MPLS fixed and mobile backbone projects; HW/SW Upgrades, links expansions & network modernization initiatives
• Set regular meetings and workshops with vendors for setting the development and decision of technologies and hardware needs to provide state of art network for providing the best in class services to our customers.
• Provide data network connectivity solutions for integrating various Voice & Data services over the IP/MPLS backbone (PaCo, Core NSS, BSS, fixed broad band , 4G/5G , triple play and B2B solutions, etc.)
• Plan/provision new services implementations or migrations using Network orchestrations and automations frameworks and technologies.
• Conduct ?what-if? simulations and bottleneck analysis to investigate the impact of network changes and recommend design optimizations.
• Monitor network KPIs reports to make sure the dimensioning and QoS is guaranteed end to end across the network.
• Create and maintain relevant projects technical design documentation
• Create RFI , RFPs and RFQs for IP/MPLS converged core network new projects for enhancement , optimization modernization or expansions
• Develop converged IP/MPLS backbone annual/quarterly CAPX/OPEX budget
• Manage IP Pool & Internet clusters.
