TheClinical Informatics SpecialistJob Description:

• Full-time, direct hire opportunity
  
• Mon-Fri, day shift
  
• ONSITE position

• The Clinical Informatics Specialist is responsible for assisting with planning, coordinating and monitoring the analysis, design, implementation, evaluation and maintenance of assigned clinical and non-clinical informatics applications and projects.
  
• Duties for the Clinical Informatics Specialist also include supporting staff with clinical software applications and providing ongoing staff education and training.
  
• Some on call required.
  

TheClinical Informatics SpecialistRequirements:

• Minimum of an Associate s degree and training in the medical field required
  
• A minimum of 2 years relevant work experience along with experience with Epic electronic medical record strongly preferred.
  
• Must have aptitude for Information Technology, excellent customer service and presentation skills, and an understanding of the roles and responsibilities in a health care setting, patient charting and data reporting requirements.
