Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced podcast manager that can provide said experience to our own podcasts and those that we produce for our clients.
Duties/responsibilities:
Find guests that will be interesting to speak with that will add value to our clients and meet the quality requirements for our show
.
Book guests
.
Collect and archive guest information
.
Communicate information about the show with guests
.
Ensure guests have show information
.
Host shows, ensuring mic, camera and lighting are appropriate for the show
.
Download and archive the completed shows
.
Reviewing the shows to create editorial notes, show notes
.
Work with editor to deliver all content and that it is of supreme quality
.
Ensure distribution of shows across all channels with the appropriate artifacts and meta data
.
Track show performance
.
Participate in meetings with the podcast team(s)
.
Create brilliant ways to enhance the shows that we are producing
Requirements
Required Skills:
Excellent communications skills
.
Excellent writing skills
.
Ability to write show notes
.
Ability to manage the entire podcast production cycle
.
Ability to learn, use and potentially improve the podcast process
.
Ability to provide feedback on all aspects of the podcast production, editing and distribution
.
Ability to track performance and make recommendations to improve performance
.
Work within budgets to ensure profitability of each of the ventures that are pursued
Education and Experience:
Bachelor s degree in communications, mass media or similar
.
At least 3 years of podcast production experience
At least 1 year of successful podcast marketing (show notes, content piece direction, performance tracking)
