Quality Assurance Engineer (SaaS/Hospitality)

Our client is a high-growth global focused B2B enterprise SaaS company serving industries in 14 countries. Their SaaS platform is used by leading hotels, conference centres, stadiums, and other speciality venues. The software enables their customers to move quickly from outdated processes to high performing cloud-based tools that help bring together their entire events strategy.

Requirements

• +5 years proven experience working in a software development environment
  

• Previous experience in software quality assurance
  

• Good knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
  

• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
  

• Experience with automated testing tools
  

• Experience and/or knowledge of working in an Agile/Scrum development process
  

• Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
  

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for conducting tests and updating the automated testing software before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs while being cost-effective.
  

• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback during the testing process
  

• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
  

• Estimate, prioritise, plan and coordinate testing activities
  

• Design, develop and execute automation scripts using Katalon Studio.
  

• Identify, record, document thoroughly bugs through the QA process
  

• Verify bugs submitted by the client services team
  

• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs
  

• Liaise with internal teams (e.g. GMO, SM, developers and business analyst) to identify system requirements
  

• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
  

• Stay up to date with the current product as a whole
