Import Ocean Freight Specialist

Responsibilities:

• Communicate with, agents, Shipping Lines, by phone and emails.
• Negotiate rates with Shipping Lines and agents.
• Dealing and negotiating rates with Trucking companies and Customs Clearance agents.
• Ensures continuous improvement in customer service always exceeding customer’s expectations and managing the implementation of necessary operational and customer service practices.
• Ensure that financial aspects (billing and invoicing) and reporting for freight is carried out in accordance with company requirements.
• Follow up the workflow on the system.
• Maintain the confidentiality data contained in the documents of each shipment, and verify the accuracy of their information.
• Issue invoices to the client.
• Receive customer complaints and solve it.
• Ensure applying and maintaining accurate and clear documentation for operational procedures and activities.
• Perform periodical (monthly/weekly) reports to superior upon achievements and performance.
• Compliance with all administrative and technical rules applied by the company.
