Job Description
- Analyzing data to determine the adequacy of current systems or to design new systems based on client needs
- Performing inspections of equipment to ensure that it is operating properly
- Troubleshooting problems with equipment to determine causes of failures and recommending solutions
- Designing new hydraulic systems or modifying existing systems based on client needs
- Providing training to customers on how to operate hydraulic equipment safely and efficiently
- Performing routine maintenance on hydraulic equipment to ensure its continued operation
- Selecting materials such as metals or polymers to ensure they are suitable for their intended applications
- Installing hydraulic equipment such as pumps, motors, valves, and cylinders
- Creating hydraulic schematics to illustrate fluid flow pathways
