Job Description:
Specific Responsibilities and skills for Position:
In this role, you will join a fast-paced Human Resources team as an HRIS Support Associate. You will be reporting into the Workday & Systems Support team and serving as the first point of contact for HRIS / People Technology inquiries.
We are looking for a candidate who is enthusiastic about their career in Human Resources.
This role, although challenging, should be viewed as a developmental opportunity within the broader scope of HR Operations and HRIS / People Technology.
A successful team member will be extremely detail oriented, flexible with continuous process/system changes, and will be able to handle a high pressure, deadline heavy environment.
Essential Functions:
Complete multiple reoccurring daily, weekly, and monthly data audits within Workday.
Be the first line contact for questions that come into the Case management system (Service Now).
Troubleshoot (or re-route if question should be answered by HR COE) system issues and errors that occur for different Workday Modules: Recruiting, Offer/Onboarding, Performance, Compensation, Benefits. Escalate to appropriate People Technology team members as needed.
Take action on requests within Workday including but not limited to: agency maintenance, job profile (aka title) creation/updates, assigning access, password resets.
Review report/data requests and work with team members to determine if data can be released, and where the information should come from (i.e. PeopleSoft, Workday, HRA).
Complete EIB loads to load positions, one-time payments, employee changes etc.
Test new HR Ops Workday enhancements, keeping in mind the changes to process and the three different HR Ops teams.
Proactively document new processes and or update missing steps process documents, as needed.
Ad Hoc Projects
Knowledge, Experience and Skills:
Bachelors and 1-2 years of experience working in a customer responsive environment.
Experience with Workday (HCM & ATS) and Service Now is highly desired
Strong experience with MS Office Suite. Excel proficiency (i.e., formulas, vlookups, pivot tables) preferred.
Ability to prioritize daily issues, tasks, and projects in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, business writing, and communication skills are required.
Having a positive attitude about repetitive job responsibilities.
