Job Description
- Maintaining the source of truth for the events strategy
- Integrating event opportunities into overall marketing department and organizational goals such as product releases and community engagements
- Researching potential event opportunities
- Applying to speaking opportunities on behalf of team members
- Meeting with event organizers to discuss speaking and/or sponsorship opportunities
- Scheduling confirmed events using project management software
- Ensuring relevant parties have confirmed speaking opportunities on their calendar
- Sending event organizers requested information and files, such as bios, headshots, company logos
- Evaluating events prior to and following an event
- Following a budget
- Communicating to clients any updates, or concerns, and arranging details
- Solving problems that may arise during events
- Other duties as required
