Job Description
- Supervises the activities of assigned personnel in the Tax Section. Performs supervisory duties and exercises financial authority at the level established by Management for the position.
- Coordinate with HO departments and the stations to set up detailed processes to ensure compliance when a new tax is introduced or when a new station is setup.
- Coordinating at HO level to incorporate system modification and creation of accounting nominals for newly instituted taxes in outstations and HO as well as coordinating with HO Departments and Financial reporting division in meeting Kuwait Airways Branch compliance requirements.
- Set up a process of regular review to ensure direct and indirect tax liabilities are identified / settled correctly and returns filed on time. This would also ensure that station claim all eligible tax reliefs, benefits, deductions, tax credits on a timely basis.
- Carries out other similar or related duties such as special studies wherever required, answering related queries, ensuring proper maintenance of files and records and preparing related reports, etc.
