Now we are looking for our next colleague to join the Jodel team.

Your mission

• Implement and deliver supportable, scalable and testable solutions. Being part of Android chapter by helping to set and execute on a technical roadmap, bring high quality output in your domain across all our squads, and support Engineering Management in hiring, developing and retaining Android engineers.
• Work closely with our Engineering on continuously improving the processes and structures inside the Android chapter.
• Estimate and deliver features / bugs / improvements to the best of your ability on an ongoing basis, giving feedback about the process along the way.

Your profile

• 3+ years of experience working with large codebases in a scaled environment
• Initiative person with a positive energy and mindset
• Solid knowledge of Kotlin and Android SDK components
• Experience with Dependency Injection (e.g. Dagger), Rest API, Reactive Programming (e.g. RxJava), Clean Architecture and MV* patterns
• Interest in evolving a large codebase over time to keep up with the relevant changes in the Android Architecture Components
• A strong culture of testing from Unit to Integration to UI tests
