Role: Drupal Architect/SME
Location: Remote or Baton Rouge, LA
Duration: 10 months 2 years
Project background:
The client desires to update its current website with the latest technologies to improve security, usability, and functionality. Both the underlying development platform and the user interface will be addressed during this project. Current technologies used are .Net, Drupal, HTML 5 and SharePoint.
Required skills and Responsibilities:
- The resources mentioned here must be proficient in current and future technologies including but not limited to Chef, Puppet Ansible, Salt, etc. and experience working with the United States Web Design System (USWDS) frameworks.
- Create test cases and test strategies for defects and enhancements
- Triage and test defects and enhancements
- Provide mitigation plans (Business Impact and Workarounds)
- File and Database Validation
- Individually meet and work with management, program staff and test teams to determine enhancement and defect testing needs
- Provide mentoring, technical assistance and knowledge transfer to junior programmers
- Design, code, compile, test, debug, modify, and document new or existing highly complex applications programs within accepted standards, procedures, and guidelines
- Implement complex in-house and vendor-supplied applications software
- Evaluate, analyze, and prepare information and recommendations on technical solutions or options related to operating and managing an information system
- Must be proficient in building static generated sites using headless CMS, configuration, implementation, and support
- Independently define data elements; design structures for databases; write and compile definitions and descriptions of data elements into dictionary form for use by professionals and users. Write user guides and other documentation; meet with users to determine needs and parameters to evaluate results; train users in programs or systems
- Evaluate and analyze requests for enhancements or development projects of a highly complex nature
