Job Title: Help Desk Support Technician

Our client is looking for a Help Desk Support Technician that will be responsible for providing 1st line IT support to internal customers.

Our client has a vision to become the most influential life sciences company for researchers. Our client is looking for a Help Desk Support Technician to join their team. This is a long term contract opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Provides basic support for Windows PCs/laptops, printers, telephones, and other IT infrastructure
- Maintains front line desktop support for internal customers and responds to IT request tickets in timely manner
- Performs asset management activities (inventory tracking, distribution, etc.)
- Owns the onboarding and offboarding processes
- Assists colleagues with Global Infrastructure projects and tasks where needed
- Conducts training sessions on newly implemented technologies to educate staff when needed
- Administers ID security card system in place to protect the office space
Required Skills and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills with a focus around Microsoft technologies
- Basic understanding of DHCP, DNS, VPN
- Experience performing Desktop/IT Support activities in a Windows environment
- Working knowledge of Windows Active Directory and file server permissions
- Experience supporting MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), as well as Microsoft O365 + and Microsoft Teams
- Able to troubleshoot Windows 7/8/10/11
