Detail

Product operations makes the lives of our product teams (consisting of engineers, product managers and designers) easier and helps them to optimize their collaborative work to be more efficient and effective. This covers different focus areas like project management, to give the product area direction and keep it running smoothly, continuous improvement of the delivery process to delivery valuable products and people and culture for team building and to establish a product mindset and coach the teams towards it.
For our Order & Buy product area we are looking for a Product Operations Manager particularly focusing on people and culture. You will report to the Head of Product Engineering in this area.

Your tasks this is what awaits you in detail

• You catalyze team building while developing a culture of trust, accountability, and commitment
• You assist in onboarding of new team members
• You act as a change agent and promote our culture and principles; Help team members adopt new or changed processes and live by them
• You shadow teams, identify issues within or between the teams, and communicate with the appropriate stakeholders to resolve problems early on
• You help implement and standardize processes, identify bottlenecks and blockers, make them transparent and guide teams in solving them; you also help teams by addressing invisible obstacles
• You shape strategies with management and team to improve the delivery process & quality
• You actively engage in sharing best practices with other POMs, and bring new ideas and a fresh view to own teams

Your profile this is what we expect from you

• You have working experience in working closely with software development or engineering teams
• You enjoy working in fast-paced environments and ideally have worked in Tech, IT-consulting or startups before
• You have a quick perception and are interested in understanding and improving the software delivery process
• You are proactive and self-driven, always looking at what can be improved, and you don t wait for tasks but create them
• You are able to filter between important & unimportant topics, and quickly switch between topics
• You have a positive mindset, and are known as a person of trust
• You feel responsible for team & area success you take pride in helping the teams increase efficiency
• You have excellent communication skills, are willing to embrace our company culture and values and enjoy working in an international, english-speaking team
