Job Description
- Demonstrate and use understanding of the countries’ business strategy balance sheets, liquidity, interest rate and FX exposure.
- Monitor adherence with Arab Bank internal limits and regulatory limits and initiate corrective or avoiding action where required.
- Perform daily monitoring of liquidity and market Risk, identify and document actual and potential limit breaches and initiate corrective or avoiding action as required.
- Deliver timely and accurate ALM reports with complete analysis and understanding.
- Prepare support material and associated analysis needed for the High ALCO meetings at the request of the Head of ALM.
- Manage the annual Risk limit review process by liaising with all stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyze the financial performance of Arab Bank plc Treasury (for the assigned countries).
- Perform compliance check with the transfer pricing policy and investigate alleged breaches.
- Ensure that all countries behave in line with approved policies and directives, and Internal Audit items are closed.
- Oversee Treasury credit limit requests and manage the sub-allocation process
