Our client is looking for a seasoned leader who has experience and are passionate about growing a tech firm globally. Must have:

  • Strategic mindset someone who has previous experiencehaving led in terms of business and leading/ensuring execution against a defined global strategy.
  • Experience previously being a part of the Executive Leadership Team leading strong technical resources
  • Change management experience - key transitions in terms of technology and how to automate everything
  • Good stakeholder management and influencing skills, they need to be able to play a connecting role across the organization to ensure consistent, productive engagement with various stakeholder groups, excellent collaboration skills and great at building and maintaining relationships.
  • Someone that understands the SDLC andindustry trends in the world of tech, specifically around the challenges faced by the skilled labour shortage

Key Responsibilities:

Minimum of 10 years progressive multi geography experience in HR management & leadership roles:

  • Deep knowledge experience of working as a HR generalist in a business unit environment.
  • Deep knowledge of relevant local/federal/provincial employment laws.
  • Experience working in a complex global platform.
  • Significant experience with international labour laws per jurisdiction including permanent and contractual staff.
  • Demonstrated development of HR systems and strategies, organizational design, change management and compensation administration.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking capability and business acumen; talent planning and leadership, functional capability.

It will be advantageous to have:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Business writing expertise.
  • Excellent facilitation/ coaching skills.
  • Strong employee relations skills with the proven ability to drive change and leadership ownership/accountability.
  • Strong leader of people with proven capability to empower, motivate and develop others.
  • Strong drive for results and sense of urgency; data and metrics-driven.
  • Strong project management skills with ability to lead a cross-functional business team.
  • Ability to work in a global matrixed environment.
